Nothing is ever deleted if you stop paying. Cancel or move down a plan and your photos, messages, calendar and members all stay exactly as they are — the group simply goes back to Free limits, so you can’t add new members or upload more until you upgrade again.
One person pays per group. Whoever creates the group picks the plan; everyone they invite joins free and can be in as many groups as they like.
Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details. You choose a plan from inside your group — Roster → Plan & billing — and can switch, pause or cancel there whenever you like.
What counts towards a plan
Members is everyone in the group, including you. Storage is the photos shared into that group. Messages, calendar events and pinned notes don’t count towards it.
Each group has its own plan. You can be in any number of other people’s groups without paying anything — their plan covers the group you’re in.
Changing or cancelling
The group’s owner opens Roster → Plan & billing and manages everything from there: switch between monthly and yearly, move up or down a plan, change the card, or cancel. It opens Stripe’s secure portal, so we never see or store your card details.
Stopping never deletes anything. The group returns to Free limits and keeps every photo, message and member it already had.
Why Photo Fort charges at all
Subscriptions are how Photo Fort makes money — the only way. There are no ads, no trackers, and nothing about you is sold or used to train AI. Storing your family’s photos costs real money every month, and a business that charges for that has no reason to be interested in anything else.
